New Sun Server Implemented

Boise, Idaho - - - Our hosting partner announced today the addition of a new Sun Virtual machine server. Billed as the world's first eco-responsible server, the platform will provide a minimum of triple the throughput using less than half the power of our old hyper-threaded servers in half the size. The "greening" of IT results in savings in power usage and cooling costs.

According to Sun, the Sun Fire Server "is a breakthrough discovery which is rewriting the future of the server industry". Whatever the real results are, we have noticed better perfomance and are thrilled to have access to a shared TerraByte server.
